NCD Awareness Day: December 8th
Will and action under Individual/ Corporate Social Responsibility – kindles a ray of hope every dawn amid-st this darkness of Social problems, one of which is fight against Cancer and Non Communicable Diseases. In such a scenario what-ever little is contributed by one and all, may it be in any form, is vital for Cancer Control – the second leading cause of death. In this direction Cancer Aid Society solicits your valuable support in strengthening our hands towards the war against Non Communicable Diseases waged by us since 1987.
The issue was finally taken up by the United Nations General Assembly in the High Level Meeting for the Prevention and Control of the Non Communicable Diseases on 19th and 20th of September 2011, in which Cancer Aid Society participated from India along with the Global Governments who signed the Political Declaration, thereafter in July 2012 Cancer Aid Society got Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations Organisation.
Our appeal to all of you to openly challenge the Non Communicable Diseases (which kills 60% humanity) by spreading the word and organizing activities on prevention and control of Non Communicable Diseases on 8th of December every year so as to integrate our fight Globally.
The entire humanity shall be indebted for your efforts.
